How to request deletion of your personal data stored in Showbie

Individuals have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data.

To request that your account and data be deleted, we require some information from you. You can initiate this process and provide us the necessary information by clicking the button below:

To initiate your process, you have the option of contacting Showbie (the data processor) via the above button or your educational institution (the data controller). Once your request has been verified, all third party sub processors will be informed as well as all school Administrators and teachers associated with the account.

Administrators or teachers will need to request changes to student accounts. We will not make changes to student accounts that are requested by students or parents. Parents can however request changes to their own parent accounts. If you are a student or parent and want to make changes to a student account, please have your child's teacher or school administrator submit the deletion request using the button above.

If you are a teacher with active Showbie classes, note that all classwork (assignments, grades, feedback) will be permanently deleted upon deletion of your account, and unable to be retrieved.
