Share your presentations, slides, GIF or video from Keynote to Showbie

Keynote is a great tool to great creative with! You can share your Keynote as a PDF, GIF, image, video, or as a Keynote file.

Keep in mind when sharing your Keynote as a PDF or image your file is annotatable in Showbie. If you share your file as a Keynote file, video, or GIF these file types will not allow you to annotate on the doucument.

To share a file from Keynote on iOS:

  1. Long Press on the Keynote file you would like to share

Or

  1. If you have the Keynote open, tap on the three dots (...)

  2. Tap Share

  3. Tap the Showbie app

  4. Select the class and assignment destination

  5. Tap Add File

This file will be uploaded to Showbie as a PDF. It can be shared back into Keynote to edit as a Keynote file.

Sharing a Keynote from Showbie back to Keynote:

This will allow any video or audio files to be played once the file is shared into Keynote.

  • Tap the copy +

  • Tap Share Keynote

  • Select Copy to Keynote

Exporting a Keynote GIF to Showbie:

  • Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner (...)

  • Tap Export

  • Select Animated GIF

  • Select the slide range

  • Tap Export

  • Tap Share

  • Tap Showbie

  • Choose the assignment or discussion you would like the GIF uploaded to

Exporting a Keynote as a Video to Showbie:

  • Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner (...)

  • Tap Export

  • Select Movie

  • Select the slide range you would like added to your movie

  • Tap Export

  • Tap Share

  • Tap Showbie

  • Choose the assignment or discussion you would like the Video uploaded to

Adding a Keynote file from the Web:

You can save your Keynote file to your desktop as a PDF, Movie, GIF, or another file type. Once you have saved your file you can then add your file from your desktop to Showbie.
