Here, you’ll find all the important things to note in class settings:

Type the name of your class here – there are no character restrictions, so you can even include emojis!

Students will be able to use class codes to join your class in Showbie. Tap the class code to find more information on approval settings. You’ll also receive an email with your class code, but you can find it in Showbie at any time.

Let students select work in this class to include in their portfolio. Teachers will be able to manage student portfolios regardless of this setting.

Parent will be able to see their child's folder in this class. Otherwise, parents will only be able to see their child’s work in this class if it is included in their child’s portfolio.

This creates a copy of the class, including activities and content uploaded in Materials. Use this feature to reuse your class for a new set of students! 

If you no longer need the class, you can archive it to remove it from your class list and keep your account clean and organized! You can also restore the class if you ever need it again. 

Pinned Classes have been created based on your feedback! Teachers and students can now have streamlined access to their most frequently used classes by pinning them. This will help teachers and students alike stay connected with classroom activities, provide guidance, and ensure consistency—all while keeping their class list organized!
