If Socrative is included in your Showbie subscription, you can manage your teachers' access to pro features directly within Socrative. Teachers in Socrative are organized into teams, and Showbie Admins can manage their school's Socrative team as a Team Admin by accessing the Socrative Admin Dashboard.

What is a Team?
A team in Socrative is a collection of teacher accounts that share a subscription plan. Your team will include a subscription with multiple seats (upgraded accounts or "licenses" as they are called in Showbie) and these seats can be assigned to your teachers' accounts to access Socrative's Pro features.
Teams can be managed from a central dashboard (similar to the Showbie Admin Dashboard) where your team members can be invited, upgraded, and assigned a team role. The Showbie Admin will have access to this Dashboard, and they will need an active Socrative account.
Using the Socrative Admin Dashboard
Upon signing into your Socrative Account, you can view your team by navigating to your profile in the top right navigation menu and selecting Plans and Members. Select your team from the 'Viewing team:' selector (if it’s not already selected) to display your plan details and team members.
The team settings available in the Socrative Admin Dashboard allow you to:
Rename Your Team – Choose a unique name for your team.
Manage Subscription – View your subscription's expiry date.
Manage Team Members – Invite, upgrade, and downgrade team members.
The Plan Details section will display your plan type, renewal date, and number of seats purchased/available for the team. The number of 'seats' available refers to the number of additional teacher accounts that can join your team with access to Pro features.
Team admins can invite additional team members (teachers), assign paid seats to those team members, and promote other teachers to team admins as needed. They can also downgrade or remove existing team members to make room for new or additional members.
Inviting Team Members
Invite teachers to your team by navigating to your profile on the top right and selecting Plans and Members. Choose the team from the ‘Viewing team:’ selector and click the Invite Members button.

Assigning a Paid Seat
Showbie plans are purchased with a set number of seats or licenses. These seats can then be assigned to teachers that have joined your team to access Pro features on their accounts.
Assign a paid seat by navigating to your profile on the top right and selecting Plans and Members:
Choose the team from the ‘Viewing team:’ selector and find the team member in the ‘Team Members’ section.
Under the ‘Seat’ column, select Upgrade to Paid.
Seat Behaviour When Joining a Team
If there are available paid seats on the team subscription: the invitee will be assigned a paid seat automatically and they can start using the pro features right away.
If there are no available paid seats on the team subscription: members will be added with a free seat.
Managing Seats
Switching the seat type from Paid to Free will downgrade their account, making their paid seat available for another team member.
Owners and admins can downgrade existing teacher's to make their paid seat available for the new invitee.
📝 Owners and Admins are not required to use a seat in the team subscription.
This is useful if, as an Admin, you handle subscription and team management but don't need the pro features of Socrative!
Removing Team Members
Remove members by navigating to your profile on the top right and selecting Plans and Members.
Choose the team from the ‘Viewing team:’ selector and find the team members you want to remove in the ‘Team Members’ section.
Select the ‘...’ button on the team member row and press Remove Member.
