Confirming Your Email Address in Showbie
When you sign up for Showbie as a new teacher, you’ll see a message letting you know that a confirmation email has been sent to your inbox.
This email contains a link to confirm your email address, which is valid for 24 hours.
To complete the process:
Open the email
Click “Confirm my Email Address”
You’ll see a confirmation message in Showbie
You can then return to the app and continue
Check Whether Your Email Address Is Confirmed
Not sure if your email has been confirmed? You can check directly in your Showbie account.
To do this:
Sign in to Showbie
Go to your profile (click your name or profile picture)
Select Sign-in & Security
Look for a yellow notification box at the top of the 'Sign-in & Security' menu:
If no notification box appears → your email is already confirmed ✅
If there is a notification box with a link to Resend Confirmation, your email address has not yet been confirmed.
To confirm your email address, click the Resend Confirmation link.
Showbie will then send a confirmation email to your inbox (valid for 24 hours). Open this email and click the blue button that says Confirm my Email Address.

Why do I need to confirm my email address?
For teachers: it helps your Showbie Admin verify that you’re connected to the correct school
In general: it allows you to reset your password and ensures you receive important notifications
I signed up using SSO (Google, Microsoft, or Feide). Do I still need to confirm my email?
No - your email is automatically confirmed when using single sign-on.
What if I didn’t receive the confirmation email or deleted it?
Check your spam or junk folder
If it’s not there, go to Sign-in & Security in your profile
Click the “!” icon next to your email to resend the confirmation
What if my confirmation link has expired?
No problem — simply resend the confirmation using the steps above. Each link is valid for 24 hours.
