Having a strong and secure password will ensure that you keep personal information in your Showbie account safe, and will keep any data in your Showbie account protected.
When creating your password, the following requirements are in place:
Admins, Teachers & Parents
Password must be at least 8 characters and must include a number, both uppercase and lowercase letters, and a symbol (!, @, #, etc).
Students
Password must be at least 8 characters.
*Please note that enabling single sign on (SSO) is also a good alternative to keeping your Showbie Account secure.
Tips for creating a strong password:
Make sure your password is unique. Include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (e.g., !, @, #, $, %). The more diverse your password is, the stronger it becomes!
Make your password long and memorable. Avoid using easily guessable information like your name, birthdate, address, or phone number.
Use a unique password for each online account you have. Re-using passwords across multiple accounts puts you at risk if one of them gets compromised.
Generate random passwords that don't follow predictable patterns. Avoid common patterns like "12345" or "qwerty."
