Anything great is worth sharing. That's why in Showbie, teachers can generate a shareable link to help other teachers do just that! This link will enable teachers to import teacher-approved, classroom-ready lessons and other assignment content.
When you share an assignment, the recipient gets a copy of the assignment directly into their account to build on, refine, and use with their classes.
The Shared Assignment is a copy of everything contained in your Materials.
No student work or information is shared via assignment-sharing links.
How to Start Sharing
To start sharing, go to the assignment that you'd like to share:
Click on the Settings Icon (circled ellipsis).
Select Share a Copy.
Toggle Enable Sharing to on (green) in the Share a Copy menu that opens.
Once toggled on, the share link will become available:
You can tap on the link to copy it to your clipboard and share with other teachers using your preferred communication tool.
Alternatively, you can use the Share option to export it directly to another app.
💡For iOS and iPadOS users, you can also choose to AirDrop a link directly to a colleague in your school for easy and convenient assignment sharing.
How to Stop Sharing or Refresh the Share Link
Use the Refresh Link option to generate a new link. This adds a level of security so that only authorized teachers can make a copy of your assignment. This will also invalidate the old link, and it cannot be used again.
Toggling Enable Sharing to off (grey) will also prevent the current share link from working.
