Anything great is worth sharing. That's why in Showbie, teachers can generate a shareable link to help other teachers do just that! This link will enable teachers to import teacher-approved, classroom-ready lessons and other assignment content. When you share an assignment, the recipient gets a copy of the assignment directly into their account to build on, refine, and use with their classes. The Shared Assignment is a copy of everything contained in your Shared Items. No student work or information is shared via assignment-sharing links.
Let's get started
To start sharing, go to the assignment that you'd like to share:
Click on the Wrench icon
Select Share a Copy
A menu will show where you need to toggle on Enable Sharing if you haven't already.
Once toggled on, the share link will become available. You can tap on the link to copy it to your clipboard to share with other teachers using your preferred communication tool. Alternatively, you can use the Share option to export it directly to another app.
Teachers can also choose specific folders in their classes to share assignments:
Bonus: for iOS users, you can also choose to AirDrop a link directly to a colleague in your school for easy and convenient assignment sharing.
Use the Refresh Link button to generate a new link. This adds a level of security so that only authorized teachers can make a copy of your assignment. This will also invalidate the old link, and it cannot be used again.
