Need to make a few changes to an existing Assessment without starting from scratch? You can copy an Assessment and make edits to the new version, which is perfect for creating variations or updating content over time.

Why Copy an Assessment?

Copying is a simple way to:

  • Reuse content across different classes

  • Create modified versions for differentiated learning

  • Keep an original version intact while experimenting with edits

How to Copy an Assessment

  1. Open Assessments from your class or the sidebar.

  2. Find the Assessment you want to duplicate.

  3. Tap the More Options (⋯) button next to it.

  4. Select Copy from the menu.

💡The copy will show up in your Assessments Library right away, with “(Copy)” added to the name. You can rename it anytime.

Tips for Organizing Copied Assessments

  • Rename your copied Assessment

  • Use version numbers if you're iterating on a template (e.g., “French Review v2”)

  • Delete older versions you no longer need

  • Create a folder for all assessment copies
