When creating or editing assessments, there are various customization options available. These options allow you to enhance the interactivity, accessibility, and effectiveness of your assessments.

To make your assessments even more impactful, you can consider including:

  • Animations or visuals like infographics to explain complex ideas

  • Graphs or data

  • Simulations or demos to show how things work

  • Videos with real-life examples or case studies

  • Narration or voiceovers to highlight key points

Creating & Managing Questions

Questions can be of your choosing! Questions can have up to 65,000 characters. Choose between Multiple choice, True/False or Short Answer type questions.

💡 Once an assessment is created you are still able to make changes to the questions.

You can:

  • Use Edit anytime to update the assessment.

  • Click Delete to remove the question permanently.

  • Reorder questions by dragging them into a new position.

  • Click Duplicate to make a copy of a question.

🚨 You must always click Save to keep your changes.

Question Customization Options

Answer Choices

Add as many answer options as you need using the Add Answer button. Each answer choice can include up to 10,000 characters. Remove answers using the 'x' button.

You can select one or multiple correct answers. If multiple correct answers are selected, students must choose all correct responses to receive full credit.

Images & Videos

Images

Use the image icon to upload visuals to your questions, answer options, or explanations. Drag-and-drop is also available for quicker uploads. To remove an image, click the 'x' icon.

💡 Drag and drop your images over the image icon to quickly add them to your quiz.

Embedded Videos

You can embed videos from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo to support your content. Videos can be added directly to questions or explanation sections to deepen understanding.

🚨Embedded videos do not support YouTube Music and Playlists and Vimeo Playlists.

Highlighting Key Video Segments

The highlight functionality allows teachers to focus student attention on key segments of embedded videos, assess precise concepts shared in videos, and sequence questions from the same video.

By embedding a video into a question and clicking the edit icon in the video preview, you can use the drag-handles to select the start and end time of how the video plays for students.

Navigable Links

Add navigable links to questions or answers by using the Rich Text Editor. This enables students to access external audio, video, readings, or interactive content.

Explanations and Feedback

Add explanations to clarify correct answers or provide further insight. These will appear in the Instant Feedback area after a student answers, unless feedback is disabled or navigation is open.

Rich Text Formatting

You can format your text using bold, italics, underline, superscript, subscript, or even insert math equations. These tools help you create content that is accessible and easy to follow.
