Here are the different ways you can post files to Showbie:
Leaving a comment - Comments in Showbie let you give feedback, ask questions, or provide guidance directly on a student’s work, keeping communication clear and connected to specific parts of the file.
Voice notes - Voice notes in Showbie let you give verbal feedback or instructions directly on a student’s work, making your comments more personal and easier to understand. They also allow for quick, clear communication that students can listen to anytime.
Uploading a file from Google Drive/online cloud storage - Uploading files from cloud storage in Showbie lets you easily share documents, presentations, or other resources with your class. It provides a convenient way to access and attach files stored in the cloud without leaving the app.
The following methods are available specifically on the iPad and the web versions:
iPad
Taking a picture – Use your iPad’s camera to capture a photo of a document, worksheet, or project, and upload it directly to Showbie.
Using the photo library – Select existing photos or images stored on your iPad to attach to assignments, discussions, or communities.
Uploading from another app – Import files from other apps on your iPad, such as Notes, Pages, or third-party cloud apps, directly into Showbie.
Web
Uploading a file from your computer – Select files saved on your computer and upload them to Showbie. Supported file types include documents, PDFs, images, and presentations.
These options give you flexibility to add content in the way that works best for you, whether it’s capturing something on the spot or sharing existing files.
