Layers help keep your annotations organized. 

You can use the Layers Tool to show or hide annotations and filter them by the Teacher, Student, or annotations made in the <a href="https://support.showbie.com/en/articles/1420217-using-the-shared-items-list" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Shared items</a>!

Layers help keep annotations organized

Tap the Layers icon (three stacked squares) in the top-right corner.

Toggle each layer on or off to show or hide annotations.

1. Open a file that has annotations.
2. Tap the Layers icon (three stacked squares) in the top-right corner.
3. Toggle each layer on or off to show or hide annotations.

✍️ A layer will only appear if there are annotations on it. For example, the Student layer only shows if a student has added annotations.

Each user who annotates a file in Showbie gets an annotation layer for that file. You can adjust which layers are visible.
