Reordering Posts

Keep your Materials folder organized and easy for students to follow!

Written by Kenny Dickie

Why Reorder Posts?

Reordering helps you guide students through work in a specific sequence. Want them to start with instructions, then a worksheet, then a video? Or keep a daily schedule at the top for quick access? You’re in control of the flow.

  1. Present materials in a logical sequence.

  2. Keep important resources at the top.

  3. Make assignments easier for students to follow.

How to Reorder Posts in Materials

To reorder any post in the Materials folder:

  1. Open the Materials section within your assignment.

  2. Tap and hold the reorder button (≡) beside the post you’d like to move.

  3. Drag the post to its new position. That’s it!

✍️ The Reorder button only appears when your Materials folder contains two or more posts.

Can't reorder posts?

Check the following:

  • You're in the Materials section of an assignment (not a student's folder).

  • The folder contains at least two posts.
