If you need to downgrade your subscription from Showbie Pro to the Basic version of Showbie for any reason, you may have questions about what you can expect from your account. You've come to the right place, as we've compiled our most frequently asked questions and answers here.

What happens to all of my content? When you downgrade to a free plan, you will still be able to access the content in your account. This includes classes and assignments that you previously created.

How many assignments will I have access to with a Basic/Free plan? Though you will have access to your classes and assignments, the main difference between a paid plan and a free plan is the number of active assignments across all classes you can have at any given time. With a free plan, you can only have 10 active assignments at once - this includes previously created assignments.

What happens to my excess (over 10) assignments? To create new assignments beyond the limit of 10, you will need to archive your active assignments until you have less than 10. Archived assignments are saved but cannot be accessed until they are restored.

How do I archive my assignments? You can easily archive your assignments by following the steps listed in this article.

How can I restore my assignments? Archived assignments can be restored for up to 90 days from the time they were archived. After 90 days, assignments archived in a Basic account can no longer be restored without upgrading to Pro. It is recommended that you restore any archived assignments as soon as possible if you may need them again in the future.
