Curriculum Libraries provide a central storage location for curated assignments, lesson materials, and instructional resources. Your organization can manage original content, and also control who can view, edit, copy, or distribute it.

Teachers can then use curated resources in their classes without modifying the original version. This helps teams maintain consistent curriculum materials while still allowing teachers to deliver content through their own Showbie classes.

Assessment Libraries provide teachers with access to standardized assessments created and made available across their organization. Teachers can launch a standardised assessment in a Showbie assignment and cannot edit the original version. When each teacher uses the same assessment, Insights can combine and compare results across multiple classes and schools.

Assessment Libraries are available to all Showbie users, but they become more powerful when used with Insights. By delivering the same standardised assessment across multiple classes or schools, organizations can build more consistent data sets and gain stronger comparative reporting on student performance.

Library permissions determine who can manage assessments and what other members can do with them, such as copying, sharing, downloading, or printing. This helps organizations protect the standardised version while still giving teachers the access they need to deliver assessments in their classes.

With Insights, the admin dashboard includes assessment analytics to help teachers, school leaders, and administrators understand assessment results at a glance. Use it to identify students who need additional support, evaluate assessment quality, compare performance across classes and schools, and monitor trends over time.

Teachers should launch official assessments directly from the organization’s Assessment Library. Using the official standardised version allows Showbie to recognize results from different classes and schools as belonging to the same assessment. These results can then be combined and compared in Insights.

Results begin appearing in Insights as students participate in the assessment. Results will appear even if students do not fully complete the assessment or the teacher does not finish the activity in Showbie.

Teachers should complete any required manual marking to ensure that results for those questions are accurate and complete.
