There are a variety of things that can cause notifications to not go through. Below are steps to troubleshoot this.
Troubleshooting not Receiving Email Notifications
Check you have the correct email address set. Click on your profile icon in your account to check this. If not, you can change your email address.
If you are using a school email address, check with your school's IT team, to see if emails from firstname.lastname@example.org are being blocked or held by the school's network.
If you are still having no luck with receiving email notifications, contact our team at email@example.com and we can look into this more for you.
Troubleshooting not Receiving iOS Push Notifications
Check that you have Allowed Notifications on your Device for Showbie, and that you have selected what style of alerts you would like to receive.
Try logging out and back into Showbie.
Try re-installing the Showbie app.
