The Admin Dashboard is the central hub where you can manage your school’s implementation of Showbie. This includes:
Requesting the creation and setup of accounts for teachers and students
Enrolling them in classes
Analyzing data of ongoing activities within classrooms
Managing school settings
How do I become a Showbie Admin?
If you are a school or district customer, the Showbie team can grant you or your colleagues admin access to your school. This will allow you to manage your school’s membership, licenses, and more.
The first Showbie Admins at your school will be created for you by the Showbie Team. Showbie Admins are teacher accounts with elevated privileges.
Current Admins will be able to:
Request admin access for you (to be set up as an administrator, you must already have a Showbie teacher account).
If you need further assistance, please reach out to our support team at support@showbie.com.
Logging into the Admin Dashboard
Once we’ve set you up with administrator access, you’re ready to start using the admin dashboard! Log into the dashboard via https://admin.showbie.com/signin.
To sign into the Admin Dashboard, use the email and password you chose when you set up your teacher account. Alternately, you can choose to sign in with a single-sign on provider (Google, Microsoft, Feide, Unilogin), as long as they are enabled on your Showbie account.
Resetting Your Password
If you need to set or change your password, you can do so in the Showbie App by signing in and following the steps below:
Tap to your profile picture to access your account settings.
Choose Sign-In & Security.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your current password, followed by your new password. Create a strong password by following these tips.
Tap Change Password.
💡If you've forgotten your password, that's not a problem! You can always select the 'forgot password' option at login to request a password reset.
Import Service Requests
If you are starting a new school year/semester or if you have new teachers or
students joining your school at any time, Imports help you with the bulk creation of the accounts. Imports can be requested via the ‘Home’ tab of the Admin Dashboard.
Once there, you can submit different types of Import Service requests for your school setup which will be completed by Showbie's Customer Experience Team.
Managing your Teachers
In the ‘Teachers’ tab you can invite teachers to join your school via the 'Add' button and view those that have already joined. You can also view your available Pro licenses, upgrade your teachers, see the date they were last doing activity in Showbie, and the status of their membership. You can also help teachers reset their passwords or even remove a former teacher from your school.
✍️ Administrators can assign, remove, and reassign Showbie Pro licenses directly from the Teachers tab. Licenses automatically become available for reuse when a teacher is deactivated.
Student Management
In the Students tab, Administrators can view all students associated with their school. From here, Admins can:
View individual student profiles
See which classes a student belongs to
Reset student passwords
Deactivate student accounts when they leave the school
This visibility allows Admins to quickly support teachers and students when needed
C
Clicking on a students name within this list will display their account information and the classes they belong to.
Admin Analytics
The ‘Analytics’ tab will help you navigate through teacher, student, parent, and class information. It helps you deep dive into usage and activity within your classrooms as well as download raw data in spreadsheets. You can use this data when promoting existing students to the new academic year to have them join classes or present insights to your school/district board to showcase the value Showbie adds to your pedagogical practices.
Settings
School Settings in the Dashboard are where you can manage your Integrations, Student Permissions, school wide access to AI Feedback Assistant, Admin Accounts, and your Auditor Oversight Account.
✍️If you are a district level Admin, you will see 'District Settings'. If you are a school level Admin, you will see 'School Settings' in your Dashboard.
